How to turn off dolby vision on tv

Dolby Vision looks way too dark on Netflix, and I cant turn up the backlight while it's active, and I cant find a way to turn it off. I know there's a way to turn it off with HDMI inputs but I cant find a way to do it with apps installed onto the TV itself
